Silk comforters are a healthier alternative to down and synthetics. Make certain you are getting the quality you expect. Mulberry Silk comes from silkworms fed a diet of mulberry leaves. The resulting silk is a uniform light color, is rounder, more uniform in size and finer texture than wild silk. Mulberry silk comforters will include a zippered access area to view the silk. If not, they are probably a cheaper grade of silk.
